1. Hullabaloo is a 2D hand-drawn animated steampunk film that hopes to help preserve the dying art of 2D animation. We want you to join us in making a short film that will showcase the world of Hullabaloo. In addition to helping save 2D animation, Hullabaloo aims to encourage girls to explore science and adventure. The film’s two protagonists are both young women and both scientists who use their intellect, wits, and courage to fight greed and corruption. We hope that Veronica Daring and her friend Jules will serve as positive role models for girls of all ages and encourage them to get excited about science, engineering, and sci-fi.

For more information about Hullabaloo, its creators, and how you can help bring this story to life, visit here! Their goal is to reach $80,000 by October 1st, 2014, so every donation helps and help spread the word!

    • i wish there was a way to know when it’s a good idea to tell people that they have hurt you. maybe a lot. is it always a good idea?  is it never a good idea?? is it something that always totally depends on the situation and the person?
    • i always have this voice telling me that feeling hurt is MY fault, because i’m an oversensitive loser, and not the fault of the person i feel hurt by.  that it’s just me being dumb and if i brought it up to them it’d suddenly become embarrassingly obvious that i have overreacted to something they didn’t think twice about
    • which is maybe sometimes true and certainly sometimes not true at all
    • i want to let things go but it always just feels like leaving things unresolved
    • how do normal people who are not avoidant robots deal with this somebody tell me

  5. Now listen, life is lovely, but I can’t live it. I can’t even explain. I know how silly it sounds, but if you knew how it felt, to be alive, yes, alive, but to not be able to live it, I am like a stone that lives, locked outside of all that’s real. Anne, do you know of such things, can you hear?
